She's so with it!

During Cate's phonics lesson, she needed to code the word "con/tact/ing"

She first looked at it and said, "Oh, cotton candy!"

I asked her to read it again, and she slowly read, "Con - tact - ing."

"Right," I said, "and do you know what that means?"

Cate immediately put a thumb and a finger up to her mouth and ear and said with a head toss, "Gettin' in touch!"
