My Serious Girl
Caris is growing more and more serious in nature.
Some of her observations and questions in recent days (all with quite intense emotion):
"But Mom, why is a second less than a minute if they're both 60?"
(after Callie reached over her for the salad dressing) "Or you could simply stand up, walk behind me, take the dressing, and sit back down."
"Are we North, South, East, or West?" Mom: "North, South, East, or West of what, Caris?"
"Just are we North, South, East, or West?" Mom: "Do you mean which way does our house face?"
"No. Just are we North, South, East or West in the world?"
(after the long Memorial Day holiday weekend) "Mom, what is our plan for the week?"
(wanting to learn to type) "But why don't they just put all the letters in alphabetical order?"
(after about 8 days of summer schedule) "Please can we start doing at least some school again?"
