Irony
We've discovered that Coplea likes irony. She laughs and laughs about any oxymorons she encounters. A couple of recent examples:
Last week, during our Haiti garage sale, she ran across a shirt on the rack which had the following on its tag - "XXL - tiny fit"
Today, she and Chad worked on a home renovation project as part of City Fest all day. Apparently there was an elderly woman there who wore a breathing mask (to keep out dust) the entire time. Except for the times she took it off to smoke a cigarette!
Other things Coplea is fond of repeating:
"Fun Size?! What's so fun about less candy?"
"Why limit happy to an hour?"
"Have you ever been to Crater Hill? How about Valley Mountain?"
"Light travels faster than sound. That's why some people appear to be bright until you hear them speak."
"Silence is golden, but duct tape is silver."
"Yes, I'm tall. Thank you for being the 387th person to point that out."
Great to see her genuine, joy-filled smile!
