Today we walked to the park, and Caris and Cate were pretending that the playground was a ship. They were going to go to the beach on the ship, so Cate was calling out "on the board!...on the board!" As soon as we got to the beach, Cate began yelling "off the board!...off the board!"
After we got home from the park, we were all upstairs in the schoolroom and Callie was doing spelling. Mom said, "OK, Callie, your next word is BILL as in 'I'm just a bill, sittin' on capitol hill." Caris immediately chimed in, saying "B-I-L-L"
Callie said, "Caris, that was my word!"
At about 6:15, We were on the trampoline, and Callie was saying, "Adieu, adieu, bye." (from our play.) A little while later, Caris and Cate were on the trampoline, and Cate was saying, "A-choo, a-choo, bye!" and then falling down. How cute!
