Self Confidence

This morning, Caris and Cate had pulled out paper, scissors, rulers and more to do a "craft." After some time, I asked them to begin putting it all away. Apparently Cate didn't like the manner in which Caris was responding to me, because she yelled out:

"CARIS, Stop being so SELF-CONFIDENT!"

Where does a 3 year-old come up with this stuff?

And. . .

as I am typing, Coplea is making tortillas and cheese for lunch for herself and her sisters. Callie is refusing to have it (sitting in the living room). Caris keeps reminding her, "You're missing all the protein, Callie." Too funny!
