Laundry and Math

After canoeing the Buffalo River, we joined the Sheltons for dinner at a roadside diner. Caris was messy by the end of the meal, and Chad pointed out:

"You really did a number on that shirt."

"What number? Where? What do you mean?," she asked, puzzled.
