The Zoo

We all went to our neighbor Griffin's 3 year-old birthday party at the zoo on Saturday. It was a fun little party, but oh-so-cold and windy. We didn't see a lot of animals because of the frigid temperatures, but the girls had fun nonetheless!

Caris has asked about 50 times since Saturday afternoon if we could make "monkey bread," so we'll be pulling out the biscuits and sugar tonight to have that special treat for breakfast tomorrow morning. What's even funnier is that Caris got to watch the zookeeper feeding lots of fruits (peels and all) to the elephants (Ellen and Mary)on Saturday, and now she keeps wondering aloud if all big animals like "cameloupe"?!
