21 Ferncrest Drive

We wanted to love it. . .a house in our price range on several acres. . .

But, alas, the house is worth little more than the lot it's sitting on. Nothing about it would pass inspection. Floors not level, no trimwork anyhere, windows with broken seals, severe water damage at every entrance, broken cabinet doors, unfinished masonry in bathrooms, a tiny master bedroom and a dark and poorly divided upstairs.

We had prayed it would be clear whether we were supposed to move forward with it or not. Considering it would cost more than the purchase price to make it liveable, I'd say we got our answer.

Wally (the realtor) was gracious to even drive us out to it this afternoon, I think! He had taken time to walk through it yesterday, but didn't say one word until after we arrived there today.
