Zoo Memories

Chad’s parents came for a visit for several days at the end of March. We decided to try out the zoo, as there was an 80th Anniversary celebration for the Little Rock Zoo during their stay. Unfortunately, Beth woke up feeling really dizzy that Saturday, but the rest of us headed out for a fun day of reliving my own childhood memories. It didn’t require much imagination to relive them all. . . since nothing had changed at the zoo in at least 30 years. The only strange thing was that everything looked so small compared to how I recalled it all!

Hoping the city chooses to salvage what’s left of our neat little zoo and make it something worth keeping around for another 80 years.
